What is DeepSearch?

A name is often the only detail you have. DeepSearch helps you explore matching profiles, compare the information you recognize and understand more about a person’s public presence.

You might be reconnecting with someone, looking for the right social profile or checking whether two profiles belong to the same person. Instead of switching between separate searches, you can review the available details together.

How it works

  1. Start with a name. Add a city or company if you know one.
  2. Choose the person you recognize. Compare the location and other identifying details when several people share a name.
  3. Open the report. Review the available fields, then unlock further details with a plan.

Searching for candidates and unlocking a report are separate actions. Your account shows the searches and reports included in your plan.

What can you find?

Depending on the person and the available information, a report can include names, locations, social profiles, usernames, work and education, and contact details. Fields with no returned information stay empty.

Coverage varies by person, platform and country. DeepSearch does not access private social accounts, private messages or live locations. A matching name alone does not establish someone’s identity, and a missing field does not mean the information does not exist.

Where the information comes from

Searches use third-party profile and enrichment services to connect available public and provider-held information. Reports may combine several sources; details can be incomplete, outdated or associated with someone who has a similar name.

The public-figure profiles on our homepage are curated biographies with links to official pages. They are separate from a search for another person and do not guarantee the same coverage for every report.
