Who this policy covers

This policy covers people who visit or use DeepSearch and people whose information may appear in its results. Contact DeepSearch at carriechenxc@gmail.com with questions or to exercise a privacy right.

You can read public pages without signing in. Searches, reports and billing use account-specific records so that access and purchases belong to the correct account.

Information we process

  • Account and sign-in information: your Google account identifier, name, email address, profile image and session information.
  • Searches and reports: the name and optional city or company you submit, candidate matches, report contents, report history and information needed to track processing.
  • Payment information: plan, order and subscription identifiers, amounts, payment status and renewal or cancellation records. Checkout is hosted by our payment provider; DeepSearch does not collect full payment-card numbers in its own forms.
  • Operational information: request times, error and security information, usage allowances and records needed to prevent duplicate charges or jobs.
  • Support correspondence: information you choose to send when asking for help or a correction.

Information about people in results

Results can contain names, social profiles, usernames, locations, work and education, and available contact information supplied by profile and enrichment services. These providers may use public profiles and other licensed data sources. Information may be incomplete, outdated or incorrectly matched.

The current search workflow uses Harvest for profile discovery, People Data Labs for enrichment, and EnrichLayer for additional contact information when needed, through our data-service gateway. Only the information needed for the relevant lookup is sent to that service. Public-figure biographies on the homepage are separately curated.

Why we use information

We use account information to authenticate you; search details to find matching profiles; report data to deliver and reopen results; billing records to provide access and reconcile payments; and operational records to maintain security, troubleshoot failures and enforce usage limits. Support messages are used to answer your request and investigate the issue.

We process information where permitted by applicable law, including to provide the service you request, meet legal obligations, and support legitimate service and security needs. Where consent is required, the relevant processing requires it. Public availability does not remove a person’s privacy rights.

Service providers and external links

Google handles sign-in. Pancake/Waffo handles hosted payments. Profile and enrichment providers process the relevant lookup details. Hosting and infrastructure services process information needed to run the site. Support emails are handled through the published support mailbox.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the service and people from unlawful activity. External websites, including social platforms linked from reports, have their own privacy policies. Opening their links is separate from using DeepSearch. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Cookies, browser storage and retention

Essential cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage keeps search drafts and identifiers needed to resume the current search or payment flow. Clearing this site’s browser data removes those local values and may sign you out; it does not delete server-side account or payment records.

Search content is retained for up to 30 days, report contents for up to 180 days, and raw provider responses for up to 30 days before scheduled cleanup. Report contents can be removed earlier using Delete report. Operational identifiers, account information and billing records may remain where needed for security, reconciliation, support or legal obligations. Deleting a report is not the same as deleting your account or opting out of search results.

Your choices and requests

Depending on your location and the applicable rules, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to processing, or receive a copy of eligible information. You can ask about these rights even if you do not have a DeepSearch account.

Email carriechenxc@gmail.com or follow Correction & removal. Explain which information or account is involved. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or authority before disclosing or changing personal information. Do not send passwords or unrequested identity documents.

We explain the action taken and any limits that apply. Removal from DeepSearch does not delete the original source or copies held by unrelated websites. You may also have the right to raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.

Changes and contact

We update this policy when the service or its information handling changes. The current policy is available on this page. For questions about a specific search, account or privacy request, contact carriechenxc@gmail.com.
